About

The Buller Camera Club was founded in 1956 by local photographer Leo Morel and a group of enthusiastic people who had a shared interest in photography. Today, our club is a small and friendly bunch who enjoy the learning opportunities and fellowship that the club provides.

Our aim is to help you enjoy and improve your photography, whether you are a total newbie or a more experienced photographer. All ages and abilities are warmly welcomed.

Our monthly club nights are informal and social gatherings held on the fourth Thursday of the month in the library at Club Buller, 44 Queen Street, Westport.

We view the printed and projected entries from the previous month’s club competition, listen to guest speakers, participate in short tutorials and enjoy a cuppa and catch-up with other members.
