Field trips

The club holds monthly field trips which are a great way to get out there and take some photographs. Experienced photographers within the group are always more than happy to help point newer photographers in the right direction, so don’t be shy!

We usually meet on a Sunday at 10am at the Clocktower in Palmerston Street, and there is always the opportunity of car-pooling for those who would like to catch a ride.

Field trip suggestions are always welcome and can be discussed with our Outings Organiser Les Cooper, by email cooperles@xtra.co.nz,

phone 789 9767 or at club night.

What to bring: camera gear, tripod (if you have one), lunch, water bottle, waterproof jacket, sturdy walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, warm clothing (in cooler months) and a sense of humour!

Workshops

Workshops are held throughout the year. They are a great opportunity to learn new skills and are free for paid-up members of the club.  Workshops are presented by various club members and cover a range of topics. If you would like to suggest a specific topic for a workshop, have a chat to Peter Robertson
